Not so clean track record for the company - Marine Harvest

‘Marine Harvest’ is the company that has put up these proposals. They have recently been bought by ‘Pan Fish’ but are going to adopt ‘Marine Harvest’ procedures and policies. ‘Marine Harvest’ also was a joint venture of ‘Nutreco’. The feed supplier is ‘Skretting’. So with looking at practices and track record the companies involved are:

- Marine Harvest
- Pan Fish
- Nutreco
- Skretting

“Twelve industrial companies working across Scotland have been named by theScottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) for failing to curb pollution risks.

“The lowest-ranked company was fish farming multinational Marine Harvest, which also failed Sepa's assessment the previous year. The company's Blar Mhor plant in Fort William has been served an enforcement notice for breaching eight conditions of its pollution permit”
