The Environment Centre Northern Territory was established in 1983 and has played a crucial role in improving environmental protection and management throughout the Territory. |
||||||||||||||||||
ECNT is the peak non-government environment group in the Territory. We rely heavily on our members, both to help direct and run the Environment Centre's activities and for the contribution that membership subscriptions make to our limited resources. ECNT works to: |

A Management Committee elected from ECNT membership guides the activities of the Environment Centre. The Centre's day-to-day activities are coordinated by the Office Coordinator whilst our range of campaigns are managed by our Campaigns Coordinator. |
||||||||||||||||||
ECNT is heavily dependent on its volunteer base- please contact the Centre if you would like to know how you can help us to protect precious Northern Australian environments. |
||||||||||||||||||
ECNT gratefully receives funding assistance from a range of organisations, including national philanthropic organisations such as Myer Foundation, Poola Foundation, and the Mullum Trust. We also receive grants from fellow conservation organisations, and from the NT government, as well as members of the public. |
